Sacramental Programme

Year 4 Sacramental Programme – Preparation for First Holy Communion

 

In Year 4, our children take part in the Sacramental Programme as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion — a very special step in their journey of faith. Working closely with the parish, families, and school community, the children deepen their understanding of the Mass and the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Throughout the year, they take part in lessons, prayer services, and reflection activities that help them grow in faith, understanding, and reverence. The programme includes opportunities for Reconciliation, participation in special liturgies, and family preparation sessions to support parents as the first educators in faith. Together, we celebrate this joyful milestone as our children are welcomed to the table of the Lord for the first time.
